From 1st September 2024, Shropshire Council will be co-ordinating and allocating all requests for places at our school.

We welcome prospective parents to visit our school.

Your application will be processed by the School Admissions Team at Shropshire Council in accordance with our school’s published oversubscription criteria. You will be notified via letter of the outcome of your application.

Consultation on School Admission Arrangements – 2026-27

St John’s Catholic Primary School is carrying out a consultation on the proposed admission arrangements for admission in September 2026-27.

Admission arrangements are the overall procedure, practices and oversubscription criteria used in deciding the allocation of school places. The consultation is being carried out by the Governing Body. There have been slight changes to the oversubscription criteria.

The Governing Body is fulfilling its statutory duty to consult at least every seven years.

The proposed admission arrangements are published on the school website and can be viewed at www.sjrc.co.uk or by contacting the School Office at admin@sjrc.co.uk .

The consultation opens on 22.11.24 and closes on 02.01.25.
